PIA restores Peshawar-Zhob flights Print E-mail

QUETTA: Paksitan International Airlines (PIA) restored its flights to and from Zhob Monday after a lapse of four years. Thirty six passengers arrived Quetta from Zhob by first flight today. PIA sources said here today that flights for Zhob have been revived after 2006. First flight reached Quetta via Peshawar - D.I.Khan - Zhob.

Managing Director PIA Ejaz Haroon was also among the passengers. He reviewed arrangements. He was received by GM PIA Asghar Mohiuddin Wardag and other officers at Quetta Airport GM PIA Balochistan said that it was long standing demand of the people for revival of flights for Zhob.

It would facilitate people of the area particularly students and businessmen. He said after Zhob is sixth city after Quetta, Panjgur, Turbat, Gwadar and Dalbandin where PIA flights have bene introduced.

He said all possible steps would be taken for providing better air travel facilities to the people of the province and more flights would be operation where need be. He said flights on Multan-Zhob-Quetta are also being considered.
