ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said the government attaches high priority to the development of Balochistan and is providing increased funds for the provision of basic necessities of life in all parts of the province.

Talking to Governor Balochistan, the Prime Minister said the recently announced Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan package would go a long way in removing the sense of deprivation of the people of province while ushering in a new era of progress and prosperity.

The matters relating to Balochistan including the working of federal government departments came under discussion during the meeting.
