Isolated rain, snowfall over hills expected on Feb 14 Print E-mail

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Friday forecast isolated rain with thunderstorm in North Punjab and light snowfall in Murree on February 14. However, weather will remain cold and dry weather in most parts of Punjab including Islamabad during the next 48 hours.

 

A weak westerly wave has gripped northern parts of the country that will persist during the current week over there.

 

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, isolated rain with snowfall may occur with occasional gaps during next few days.

In NWFP and Balochistan, cold and dry weather is expected in next few days.

However, isolated rain with thunderstorm and light snowfall over the hills is likely in some parts of the province on February 14. While dry weather is expected in Sindh during next few days.

The lowest minimum temperature was recorded -6°C in Kalam.
