President Zardari urges political parties to strengthen democracy |

QUETTA: President Asif Ali Zardari urged the political parties to assist the elected government strengthen democracy in the country. He said this while talking to the delegations of allied parties which had called on him at the Chief Minister Secretariat on Thursday.
“Pakistan People’s Party is determined to take the country out of crises,” he said, adding that forging unity in our ranks would help Pakistan become more prosperous.He said that the People’s Party government would do its best to redress the grievances of the people of Balochistan.He said that many schemes have been launched for development of Balochistan.
The President said that the Gwadar Port would lead to development of both Balochistan and the country.
The delegations of allied parties who called on the President were PML (Q) led by Asim Kurd Gailo, BNP Awami headed by Federal Minister Israrullah Zehri, JUI-F Balochistan led by Minster Maulana Wasey, Hazara delegation led by MNA Agha Nasir Shah, independent led by Aslam Bizenjo and the PPP Balochistan chapter.
